September services

As we have returned to the normal timetable, trains will operate every Sunday in September until 19th. Our End of Season Gala Weekend will be held on Saturday/Sunday 25/26th. #LoveYourRailway

We are reducing the number of compartments available for pre-booking to just Coach B because the number of people paying on the day has increased significantly. The £20 per compartment (for up to 4 adults and 3 children) tickets will still be available from TicketSource until 5pm on Saturday 18th September. Pre-booked compartments will NOT be available on Gala Weekend.

Pre-booked tickets for September go on sale on Sunday 22nd August at 9am.

Santa Specials

We will also be making our Santa Specials tickets available soon for the weekends in December before Christmas and Monday 20th December. A further announcement will be made soon.

August & September

Trains are running as detailed below. The current return fares are:

  • Adult return: £7.50
  • Senior citizen return: £6.50
  • Child (3-15 years) return: £3.50
  • Infants (aged under 3): free
  • Family (2 adults and up to 4 children) return: £21
  • Pre-booked (by 5pm the day before travel) compartment return for up to 4 adults & 2 children: £20 – this bargain fare is only available from TicketSource. Not available for Gala Weekend.

Single and rover fares are also available.

  • Sunday 12th – Green Timetable – trains depart Sittingbourne Viaduct station hourly 1-4pm
  • Sunday 19th – Green Timetable – trains depart Sittingbourne Viaduct station hourly 1-4pm
  • Saturday 25th – Gala Weekend – trains depart Sittingbourne Viaduct station regularly from 11am
  • Sunday 26th – Gala Weekend – trains depart Sittingbourne Viaduct station regularly from 11am.

If the day is in bold red – Leader should be operating the trains whereas if it is green, Melior is running. On Gala Weekend both steam locomotives and a diesel will be running (subject to availability).
