The Railway will be holding its annual End of Season Gala Weekend on Saturday 30th September and Sunday 1st October 2023.

We will have a bar, two Sentinel steam lorries, a steam roller, Fordson tractor, garden railway gala (Bowaters Models on the Sunday) and YouTube’s The Victorian Mudlark at Kemsley Down.

Timetable for both days

Sittingbourne Viaduct to Kemsley Down

  • 10.45am*, 11.10am, 11.55am, 12.40pm, 1.25pm, 2.15pm, 3.05pm, 3.45pm and 4.30pm

*The 10.45am train from Sittingbourne Viaduct station will be a mixed passenger & freight train hauled by Premier. A special fare will be charged for this train, as there will only be a small number of tickets available, which will be bookable through TicketSource in September.

Kemsley Down to Sittingbourne Viaduct

  • 11.35am, 12.15pm, 1pm, 1.50pm, 2.40pm, 3.25pm, 4.10pm and 4.55pm

Locomotives: Premier (steam), Melior (steam), Victor (diesel), Barton Hall (diesel), Barton Hall & Premier double-headed, Premier & Melior double-headed, Barton Hall & Victor double-headed. When trains are shown as double-headed, the lead locomotive runs ahead of the train to/from Milton Regis (Asda) Halt as trains cannot work double-headed over Milton Regis Viaduct.
