This line runs within the Whipsnade Wild Animal Park. The steam engines ‘Superior’,  ‘Excelsior’ and ‘Chevalier’ that work on this line, together with much of the rolling stock, came from the ‘Bowater’ railway on closure in 1969.

PS Medway Queen www.medwayqueen.co.uk
The paddle steamer Medway Queen is in desperate need of help to protect her for future generations. A Kent based paddler, she served many towns and ports around the county and made a record seven trips during the Dunkirk evacuations, saving the life of over 7,000 British troops. She has recently returned to Medway after the building of a new hull in Bristol.
