Sunday 23rd August 2026 – steaming again!

Following ‘improvements’ in the weather, steam trains will be operating on Sunday 23rd August 2026. But even better news is that ‘Melior’ will be pulling the trains!

’Melior’ last pulled trains during the Three Brazils Weekend in 2024. Significant investment and lots of volunteer-hours later, ‘Melior’ passed all the tests on Friday so is ready to go into service. It has been painted into a slightly different shade of green too.

So, if you want to be one of the first people to travel behind ‘Melior’, come down on Sunday 23rd August.
