The building

The building is a former, redundant office block from Ridham Dock and relocated to Kemsley Down during the setting up of the Railway 1969/70. It is about a century-old and a modular building made up of three sections.

Much like ‘Trigger’s Broom’ from BBC’s Only Fools and Horses (click here to see the clip) which was the same, well maintained broom he had been using for 20 years, it had only had 70 new heads and 40 new heads! Probably the only original part of the structure is the framework, but that is doubtful too, such is preservation of an operational building.
