This week (7-12th May 2024)

It’s Centenary Day on Sunday!

This year is the 100th anniversary of Kemsley Paper Mill, fireless steam locomotive ‘Unique’ and steam locomotive ‘Melior’. Unfortunately, the boiler certificate for ‘Melior’ expires next week so this will be your last chance this year to ride behind the engine. ‘Premier’ will be our sole steam locomotive for the rest of the year. It is hoped that ‘Superb’ will return to steam next year.

Trains will be running to the Orange Timetable, departing Sittingbourne Viaduct station at 11.30am, 12.30pm, 2pm, 3pm & 4pm. Trains depart Kemsley Down at 12.05pm, 1.35pm, 2.35pm, 3.35pm & 4.45pm – note there is a long wait at Kemsley Down between the 12.05pm departure and the 1.35pm train. Usual fares apply.
