This week (8-14th December)

This weekend is the second weekend of Santa Specials at Sittingbourne’s Steam Railway with trains departing Sittingbourne Viaduct station at 11am, 12pm, 2pm and 3pm. Pre-booking is essential – call the booking hotline now on 01795 428269.

Santa will meet each train at Kemsley Down and lead everyone to the Footplate Café where adults and older children receive seasonal refreshments whilst the younger children are invited to meet Santa in his grotto. 

A return trip takes about two hours which leaves plenty of time to have a look around Kemsley Down, if the weather’s not too bad. Please dress in layers to keep warm as our trains do not have heating. 

Santa Specials will also be running on the remaining weekends before Christmas and Monday 22nd December, the fares for this event are:

Adults (aged over 13) – £12.50 with seasonal refreshments

Children (aged 3-13) – £12.50 with present

Children (aged under 3) – £9.50 with present
