This week (28th June – 4th July)

Steam & Beer Alternative Event on Saturday, then trains every Sunday throughout July

In lieu of Steam & Beer, which would have been held this weekend, our friends at The Yellow Stocks Micro-pub in Sittingbourne High Street, have arranged a fundraiser on behalf of the Railway – with live music, real ales and a barbecue. Then, on Sunday you can blow off the cobwebs and hangover with a trip on the train!

The COVID-19 Timetable is restricted to running three trains per day, departing Sittingbourne Viaduct station at 11.30am, 1.15pm and 3pm. We will have the same ticketing arrangements as last year – tickets are for a whole compartment of up to 4 adults and 2 children for a return trip costing £20 per compartment.

The Footplate Café is open with limited seating inside the air-conditioned building and the Railway Shop is also open, however, the Museum remains closed due to damage caused by a leak in the roof.

Tickets can be booked now click here to see the COVID-19 page or click the Book Now button to go straight to our ticket booking agent – TicketSource.

There will be no special events in July. We will be opening on Wednesday 28th July but will have to judge the impact of restrictions nearer the time.

You must book by 5pm the day before travel as the booking system will be closed after that time. This weekend’s locomotive is Melior.
