This week (18-24th August)

Trains will be running on Wednesday and Sunday (and of course, Bank Holiday Monday) when we have a special visitor – Ivor The Engine.

  • Wednesday – trains will depart Sittingbourne Viaduct every hour from 1pm until 4pm
  • Sunday & Monday – trains will depart Sittingbourne Viaduct hourly, on the hour, 11am until 4pm – Ivor the Engine will be having fun at Kemsley Down with his naughty driver. Last year, they tried to steal the passenger train! There will be interactive story telling at the platform as well as activities for children. The Railway Shop has a wide range of Ivor the Engine goodies, including the original TV series on DVD.
Passengers are advised that the train will leave promptly so please arrive 10-15 minutes early to buy your tickets before boarding the train. Parking is free, opposite Pizza Hut and behind KFC, the postcode for Sat. Navs. is ME10 2XD. There may be a slight delay opening the gates before the first train as we have to unload the station equipment from the train and set up the ticket office, the gates are usually open 15 minutes before the first train is due to depart.

Due to repeated vandalism, Milton Regis (Asda) Halt will remain closed until further notice.
