This week (13-19th July)

Something different on Saturday- it’s Art in the Park at Milton Creek Country Park so we are offering a Park & Ride service (park at Sittingbourne Viaduct station and catch the train to Country Park Halt) or Park & Ride (start at Country Park Halt and come to Sittingbourne Viaduct for the ride)!

Trains will depart Sittingbourne Viaduct station every 45 mins from 10.45am until 3.15pm and Country Park Halt from 11.15am until 4.30pm. Tickets are £5 return for adults, accompanied children travel free. The trains will be diesel hauled and whilst you may travel to Kemsley Down and watch the loco running round the train, the rest of the station is closed. The Away Sales Stamd will be alongside the main arena at Art in the Park. This is very much an experiment to see if people take us up on our offer.

The usual train service is running on Sunday, trains are departing Sittingbourne Viaduct station every hour, on the hour 1pm-4pm. A round trip takes about an hour but you are welcome to stay longer and return on a later train so you can also enjoy our Footplate Café, shop, museum, wildlife gardens, picnic area etc.

Fares are: £6 for adults, £3 for children (aged 3-13), £4 for concessions and £17 for families (2 adults and up to 4 children). Other fares, such as single and day rover, are available.
