Thank you for a fantastic Easter!

Over 1,300 passengers made Easter the best opening weekend for some time! The popularity of the event on Facebook saw over 1,100 people showing an interest in the Railway and the crowds on Friday showed just how popular the event was!

Steam locomotive Superb operated the trains on all four days of the weekend ahead of Leader’s return to steam on Sunday 3rd April. The Bowater rake of coaches was extended from a 4- to 5-coach train after the first train on Good Friday.

We would like to thank everyone who attended, as well as our volunteers who made it all possible.

Our next event will be the Teddy Bears Picnic on Sunday 10th April.
