We will be reopening in May

We are currently awaiting clarification of the new COVID-19 precautions we will need to abide by. 

We hope the clarification sought does not affect the reopening date but for simplicity and to avoid disappointment we will have delayed the sale of tickets until this Saturday, 10th April, at midday. A further announcement will be made once we are sure of the details.

Let’s get back to work!

As the Government restrictions are eased, there’s still a lot to do to get the Railway ready for reopening in May. 

Please email info@sklr.net to volunteer as we do need to manage the numbers on site. You must be a member of the Railway to work on site and have completed the induction course, this can be arranged by emailing membershipsupport@sklr.net

The weekly Virtual Steam-Ups are back, every Wednesday 4-6pm on Zoom, you can also call in by phone now, email admin@sklr.net for the password.
