This week (25th-31st March)

The long winter months are now over, the 2019 Season starts this Sunday and runs every Sunday and Bank Holiday until the end of September and Wednesdays in the school holidays – May Half Term and Summer Holidays (end of July to end of August).

Trains will depart Sittingbourne Viaduct station hourly 11am-4pm, at Kemsley Down, whilst stocks last, we will have free plant plugs for potting and pot sleeves for decorating so you can give Mum a lovely potted plant.

This will be your first opportunity to see some of the changes we have made at the Railway during the winter months.

Return fares for the 2019 Season are:

  • Adults – £7
  • Concessions – £6
  • Children (aged 3-15) – £3.50
  • Children (under 3) – free
  • Family (2 adults and up to 4 children) – £20
  • Other fares are available such as rover and single tickets
  • Special fares apply for Steam & Beer and Santa Specials.

This month (March):

  • Sunday 31st – Mothering Sunday – trains will depart Sittingbourne Viaduct station hourly 11am-4pm, at Kemsley Down you will be able to plant a plant to take home with you, perhaps you could give it to your mum!

Next month:

  • Sunday 7th – ordinary timetable – trains will depart Sittingbourne Viaduct station hourly 1-4pm
  • Sunday 14th – ordinary timetable – trains will depart Sittingbourne Viaduct station hourly 1-4pm
  • Friday 19th – Good Friday – we start Four Days of Steam with trains departing Sittingbourne Viaduct station hourly 11am-4pm, we will be repeating our traditional Good Friday Flowers so you can take a plant home with you
  • Saturday 20th – Easter Saturday – trains departing Sittingbourne Viaduct station hourly 11am-4pm
  • Sunday 21st – Easter Sunday – trains will depart Sittingbourne Viaduct station hourly 11am-4pm, at Kemsley Down there will be an Easter Egg Hunt
  • Monday 22nd – Easter Monday – trains will depart Sittingbourne Viaduct station hourly 11am-4pm
  • Sunday 28th – ordinary timetable – trains will depart Sittingbourne Viaduct station hourly 1-4pm
