This week (22nd-28th February)

This weekend is a Work Weekend and thanks to the successful completion of the scheduled maintenance work on Milton Regis Viaduct, we are able to run Work Trains to get volunteers to Kemsley Down, where the work  will be focussed.

The Works Train will leave at 10am and return at about 4pm both days. No experience is necessary, tools, training and lunch will be provided.

This is the penultimate Work Weekend this winter, the last being held on 12/13 March.

The Away Sales Team will be attending the Tenterden Model Railway Exhibition at Homewood School this weekend to raise awareness of the Railway and sell souvenirs.

Barton Hall at Kemsley Down back in 2004. This loco was purchased by the Railway in 2006 and painted in green, it is named ‘Barton Hall’.
