We are now running to the Summer of Steam timetable – trains will depart Sittingbourne Viaduct station hourly 1-4pm on Wednesdays and 11am-4pm on Sundays until the end of August.

This Saturday is Art in the Park, we will be running a diesel train hourly from 11am until 4pm, this will enable you to Park and Ride from Sittingbourne Viaduct station to our pop-up station, Country Park Halt, or you can come for a ride from Country Park Halt to Sittingbourne Viaduct/Kemsley Down and back. Please note that the station at Kemsley Down is closed, our Away Sales Team can be found in the Park. Fares for Art in the Park are £5 for adults, accompanied children travel free.

Please note: roadworks may affect passengers wishing to walk from Sittingbourne National Rail station to Sittingbourne Viaduct station in August – we have teamed up with ArrivaClick, the new on-demand minibus service. Return fares for 2017 are:

  • Adult – £7
  • Concession – £5
  • Child (aged 3-15) – £3
  • Family (2 adults & 4 children) – £19

Special fares apply for Art in the Park and Santa Specials.

Throughout the Season, children aged between 5 and 11 can participate in The Wheels of Time which involves completing an activity sheet to receive a badge unique to the Railway, there are badges to collect at 24 other heritage sites around Kent, four are close to the Railway.
