It’s Easter!

This is Leader’s last Easter in steam for a while, trains will be running all four days of the weekend but there is a different timetable on Saturday than the rest of the weekend. There will be a free plant potting activity on Good Friday and an Easter egg hunt on Sunday.

On Friday, Sunday & Monday: trains depart Sittingbourne Viaduct station at 11.30am, 12.30pm, 2pm, 3pm & 4pm – there is no 1pm train.

On Saturday: trains depart Sittingbourne Viaduct station at 1pm, 2pm, 3pm & 4pm.

You cannot pre-book tickets, it’s first come, first served so please arrive about 15 minutes before departure time. The time shown is the time the train departs, get there at that time and you may miss it. You can return on any train (unless you have purchased a single ticket!).

Our return fares are:

  • Adult – £7.50
  • Senior Citizen – £6.50
  • Child (aged 3-15) – £3.50
  • Infants (aged under 3) – free
  • Family (2A + 4C) – £21
  • SKLR Members – free
  • other fares are available.

This month at Sittingbourne’s Steam Railway:

  • Friday 15th – Orange Timetable – Trains depart Sittingbourne Viaduct at 11.30am, 12.30pm then hourly 2-4pm – note: there is no 1pm train.
  • Saturday 16th – Green timetable – Trains depart Sittingbourne Viaduct station hourly 1-4pm
  • Sunday 17th – Orange Timetable – Trains depart Sittingbourne Viaduct at 11.30am, 12.30pm then hourly 2-4pm – note: there is no 1pm train.
  • Monday 18th – Orange Timetable – Trains depart Sittingbourne Viaduct at 11.30am, 12.30pm then hourly 2-4pm – note: there is no 1pm train.
  • Sunday 24th – Green timetable – Trains depart Sittingbourne Viaduct station hourly 1-4pm

Next month (May):

  • Sunday 1st – Orange Timetable – Trains depart Sittingbourne Viaduct at 11.30am, 12.30pm then hourly 2-4pm – note: there is no 1pm train.
  • Monday 2nd – Orange Timetable – Trains depart Sittingbourne Viaduct at 11.30am, 12.30pm then hourly 2-4pm – note: there is no 1pm train.
  • Sunday 8th – Green timetable – Trains depart Sittingbourne Viaduct station hourly 1-4pm
  • Sunday 15th – Green timetable – Trains depart Sittingbourne Viaduct station hourly 1-4pm
  • Sunday 22nd – Three Brazils Weekend – special timetable applies – Premier, Leader & Melior will be operating throughout the day – Leader’s last day in service
  • Sunday 29th – Green timetable – Trains depart Sittingbourne Viaduct station hourly 1-4pm
